Provided is a device for performing a surface treatment by irradiating a workpiece (W) with ultraviolet rays. The device is provided with an ultraviolet ray irradiation means (1) for irradiation with ultraviolet rays, and a workpiece pressing member (2) that has ultraviolet ray-transmitting properties and is used to press a surface to be irradiated of the workpiece (W). By configuring the surface treatment device so that the surface to be irradiated of the workpiece (W) is irradiated with ultraviolet rays from the ultraviolet ray irradiation means (1) through the workpiece pressing member (2), even if the workpiece (W) is a sheet-like member that warps easily, deformation such as the warping of the workpiece (W) can be corrected by the workpiece pressing member (2) and a uniform surface treatment can be performed on the workpiece (W). |
