The present invention pertains to a curable resin composition characterized in containing a polysiloxane (A) having two or more alkenyl groups per molecule that is at least one selected from the group consisting of polyorganosiloxanes (A1) and polyorganosiloxysilalkylenes (A2), a polysiloxane (B) having two or more hydrosilyl groups per molecule that is at least one selected from the group consisting of polyorganosiloxanes (B1) and polyorganosiloxysilalkylenes (B2), and a compound (C) represented by formula (1). The present invention provides a curable resin composition that makes it possible to form a cured product (sealing material) that is exceptional in terms of all of the following characteristics: thermal shock resistance, reflow resistance, and barrier properties with respect to corrosive gases (e.g., SOx gas).
