The present invention relates to a laundry treating apparatus comprising: a control panel body having an opening; at least one light source; a rotary knob controlling a rotary switch wherein an outer circumference is separated from the opening; a knob decoration unit located between the rotary knob and the opening unit wherein the knob decoration unit is smaller than the opening; and a light penetration unit which includes a window illuminated from the light source which penetrates and a gap between the knob decoration unit and the opening wherein the window is located in the gap, enclosing the outer circumference of the knob decoration unit. As such, the light penetration unit of the window prevents foreign substances from penetrating between the knob decoration unit and the opening, and an arc light pattern or a ring light pattern can be displayed on the outer circumference of the knob decoration unit to be continuous; thereby displaying various light patterns. |
