A touch control method in a portable device having a display and a touch sensor corresponding to the display, includes: a step of detecting the touch start of a user and the touch movement in a constant direction by the touch sensor; a step of shifting a screen display on the display in response to the touch movement of the user; a step of fixing the displaced screen; a step of receiving an intermediate touch of the user for the shifted screen; and a step of executing a related function by matching the intermediate touch point and the coordinate of the shifted screen. A temporally fixed shifted screen can be scrolled in at least one direction before the intermediate touch is received. |
