The present invention relates to a blank posture measuring device for a press facility and a method thereof, wherein the blank posture measuring device for a press facility comprises: a step of obtaining an obtained image on a queue area as N number of vision units photographs the queue area when a blank placed onto the press facility is located on the queue area; a step of determining whether a plurality of obtained images where the blank is displayed are among the obtained images which the vision unit obtains; a step of selecting a reference image corresponding to the blank displayed on the obtained image among the reference images corresponding to a blank model when the number of the obtained image where the blank is displayed is one; a step of obtaining posture information on the blank displayed on the obtained image using the selected reference image; and a step of changing a posture of a transfer robot to transfer the blank located in the queue area to the press facility to correspond to the obtained posture information, and transmitting the obtained posture information to the transfer robot to pick up the blank located in the queue area. According to the present invention, the blank posture measuring device for a press facility may prevent the blank from being damaged and may arrange the blank without limiting a shape and size of the blank when compared with an existing technique as the blank posture measuring device for a press facility can transfer the blank which is not arranged using the obtained posture information. The blank posture measuring device for a press facility may be applied to a process wherein a plurality of blanks are placed inside. Moreover, the blank posture measuring device for a press facility may be applied to a process where the blank is placed inside without an additional processes, thus reducing the time and costs in performing a press process.
