Disclosed are a fault ratio calculation system using an RFID and a method thereof. The fault ratio calculation system using the RFID includes: an electronic tag unit including an RFID tag which is attached to each unit cargo transported by being accommodated in a container individually, and stores transportation environment information of the attached unit cargo; a reader unit which is arranged at one side of the container, and transmits transportation history information generated as to each unit cargo on the basis of the transportation environment information read out from the RFID tag through a communications network; and an insurance company server which judges whether the transportation history information received from the reader unit violates predetermined designated handling criterion, and transmits an alarm message to a communications terminal of a person in charge of transportation which is stored to correspond to the unit cargo if there is a unit cargo violating the designated handling criterion. |
