PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle configured to be able to feed electric power to outside, and efficiently using a fuel.SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises an engine and a battery 1 and is configured to be able to carry out outside power feed for feeding electric power to an outside. The vehicle comprises: a MG generating the electric power using an output from an engine; and an ECU controlling the engine and the MG so that an SOC of the battery 1 is kept equal to a predetermined control central value. The ECU sets the control central value to be smaller when a remaining capacity of a fuel of the engine falls below a predetermined reference value during the execution of the outside power feed than a value set when the remaining capacity of the fuel does not fall below the reference capacity.
