摘要 In order to apply power scaling in a signal overlapping period where uplink transmission power exceeds an upper limit, while minimizing deterioration of uplink transmission quality, the present invention provides a user terminal that is capable of communicating with a plurality of radio base stations via a plurality of component carriers in a radio communication system using a system band configurable with the plurality of component carriers, the user terminal having: a transmitting section (106) that transmits an uplink physical channel at an uplink transmission timing, the plurality of component carriers being grouped into a plurality of timing groups, and the transmission timing being controlled per timing group; and a power control section (1084) that, when the uplink transmission timing is controlled per timing group, performs power scaling preferentially on physical channels in a full overlapping period in which the physical channels are of same subframe number and overlap each other across component carriers.
