PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and simply producing a hard coat film with high hardness, which includes a hard coat layer having excellent weather resistance and scratch resistance, while reducing environmental load.SOLUTION: The method for producing a hard coat film including a hard coat layer on at least one surface of a thermoplastic resin film is characterized by going through a step of in-line coating an aqueous hard coat agent on at least one surface of the thermoplastic resin film.
