<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding device capable of reducing frequency when failure is repeated even when feeding of a medium is performed again subsequent to the failure in the case where the feeding of the medium fails due to a voltage drop, and further to provide an electronic apparatus provided with the feeding device.SOLUTION: A computer controls so as to drive motors serving as power sources driving a feeding mechanism feeding a sheet. The computer stops driving of the motors while the motors are being driven (S12) when detecting a voltage drop of a power supply section while the motors feeding a sheet are being driven (S11), changes a feeding operation mode and a feeding speed mode to a feeding operation mode and a feeding speed mode having power consumption of the motors less than that of a previous feeding operation mode and a previous feeding speed mode (S18, S20, S23 and S25), and resumes (re-tries) sheet feeding by driving the motors (S26).</p> |
