PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game server which enables a real user to concentrate on game play without minding about a battery residual amount of a battery mounted on a terminal.SOLUTION: A game server includes: a reception part 11a which receives operation data with respect to a game to be provided for a terminal 3 from the terminal 3 connected via a communication network; a transition form determination part 105 which determines a transition form in which a game image to be provided for the terminal 3 transits to be a still picture transition form or an animation transition form; and a display data transmission part 43 which transmits to the terminal 3 data displaying the game image in a determined transition form. The reception part 11a receives data related to a battery 34 supplying the terminal 3 with power. The transition form determination part 105 determines a transition form of the game image to be the still picture transition form when a battery residual amount of the battery 34 is below a prescribed value on the basis of the data related to the battery received from the terminal 3.
