A brake control device is provided with: a pump (7) (hydraulic pressure source) that can generate hydraulic pressure in a wheel cylinder (8) by generating hydraulic pressure in a first oil passage (11) with the brake fluid supplied from a reservoir tank (4) (reservoir); a stroke simulator (22) that is provided with a piston (220) configured so as to actuate in the axial direction inside a cylinder (22a) by the brake fluid supplied from a master cylinder (5) and separating the interior of the cylinder (22a) into at least two chambers (a positive pressure chamber (R1) and a back pressure chamber (R2)), the stroke simulator (22) generating the operational reaction force associated with a brake operation by a driver when the piston (220) actuates; a second oil passage (12) that is provided between the positive pressure chamber (R1) (one of the chambers) of the stroke simulator (22) and the master cylinder (5); and a third oil passage (13) for sending to the first oil passage (11) the brake fluid flowing out from the back pressure chamber (R2), the third oil passage (13) being provided between the back pressure chamber (R2) (the other chamber) and the first oil passage (11).
