The present disclosure relates to an immersible solar light device including a solar panel, a lighting element, a battery pack, a control circuit and a waterproof enclosure. The control circuit controls recharging the battery pack with power from the solar panel and energizing the lighting element with power from the battery pack. The waterproof enclosure contains the solar panel, the lighting element, the battery pack and the control circuit. The waterproof enclosure has a transparent or translucent cover that allows exposure of the solar panel to an external light source, also allowing light from the lighting element to radiate outside of the waterproof enclosure. A kit, including an immersible solar light device having a magnetic insert and also including a metal plate mountable to an external face of a container, is also disclosed. The immersible solar light can be used in a swimming pool and in other applications. |
