Provided is a function-transferring body for causing an uneven structure that has few defects to be transferred and applied to a body to be processed. A function-transferring body (14) is provided with a carrier (10) that is provided with an uneven structure (11) on the obverse side, at least one or more functional layers (12) provided on the uneven structure (11), and a protective layer (13) provided on the side of the function layer (12) opposite the carrier (10). The functional layer (12) contains a resin, and the ratio (Rq/t) of the root mean square height (Rq) of the protective layer (13) surface in contact with the functional layer (12), and the distance (t) from the uppermost position of the protrusions (11b) of the uneven structure (11) to the interface of the functional layer (12) with the protective layer (13) is 1.41 or less.
