The present invention relates to the field of communications. Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a terminal operation method and terminal device for enabling a user to realize single-hand touch control operations of the entire screen in a sub-interface by displaying, in a displayed main interface, the sub-interface mapped to an image in the main interface, thus facilitating the user in operating the entire screen interface content without affecting the browsing effect. The solution comprises: responding to the trigger of the user, a terminal device displays, in the displayed main interface, a sub-interface mapped to the image in the main interface; detecting a touch operation occurring in the sub-interface; mapping the position of the touch operation in the sub-interface to a corresponding position in the main interface according to the mapping relationship between the main interface and the sub-interface; and performing the touch operation at the corresponding position in the main interface. |
