This optical member is provided with: a first optical layer which has protrusion shapes, and which is transparent with respect to visible light; and a reflective layer which is formed on the protrusion shapes of the first optical layer, and which reflects light including at least infrared light. The reflective layer is provided with at least a metal layer. The maximum height roughness (Rz) (nm) of inclined surfaces of the protrusion shapes is not more than 3.0 times the average thickness (nm) of the metal layer. The average thickness of the metal layer is not more than 40 nm.
