摘要 The present technology pertains to an image processing device, an image processing method, an electronic instrument, and a program that are configured to make it possible to perform motion detection to reduce the effect of periodic noise such as flicker. The present technology is provided with: an intensity ratio calculation unit for calculating the ratio pertaining to the intensity of signal values in prescribed positions inside images captured under differing light exposure conditions; and a degree of contribution calculation unit for calculating the degree of contribution showing whether the intensity ratio that has been calculated by the intensity ratio calculation unit is derived from a component of the periodic noise, or from the motion. The periodic noise is, for example, flicker. The intensity ratio calculation unit calculates the intensity ratio based on one image captured by an image-capture element, pixels for which differing exposure conditions are set being combined in the image. The present technology is applicable to an image-capture device.
