The invention generally relates to devices with a fingerprint sensor (5). In particular, the invention relates to devices in which the fingerprint sensor (5) is paired with a handle (6) or a hand support (17). According to the invention, the fingerprint sensor (5) is arranged in the vicinity of the handle (6) or the hand support surface (17) at a distance from said handle (6) or hand support surface (17) such that when an index, and/or middle, and/or ring, and/or little finger of a hand grips the handle (6) or an index, and/or middle, and/or ring, and/or little finger of a hand (20) is placed on said support surface (17), the thumb (12) of said hand (20) can be placed on the fingerprint sensor (5) such that a longitudinal axis of the thumb substantially coincides with a main axis (13) of the fingerprint sensor (5). The thumb (12) of said hand (20) is placed either next to the handle (7) and thus on the fingerprint sensor (5) or the fingerprint sensor (5) is arranged on a housing side of the device, said housing side being inclined towards a device housing side on which said support surface (17) is provided. |
