[Solution] The construction machine has: an image-capturing device for capturing an image of the surrounding area; an image display unit that is mounted in a operating chamber, said display unit displaying a menu screen for showing the operating status or various settings, or images captured by the image-capturing device; an operating unit that includes a menu switch for causing the menu screen to be displayed on the image display unit; and a detection device for detecting whether an operation element is in an operation-enabled state or an operation-disabled state. The image display unit displays a warning when the menu switch is operated in the operation-enabled state.
