The optical scanning device of the present invention has: a fixed member fixed in a state in which an emission end part penetrates through a through-hole, the through-hole being provided in a center part of the fixed member; a retaining member for retaining the fixed member in cantilever fashion; and an actuator part provided with a first drive part for causing the emission end part protruding from a distal-end part of the fixed member to oscillate in a first direction, the first drive part being provided on an outer surface of the fixed member, and a second drive part for causing the emission end part protruding from the distal-end part of the fixed member to oscillate in a second direction different from the first direction; a portion the shape of which when viewed in the first direction from a central axis passing through the center of the through-hole is asymmetrical, and the shape of which when viewed in the second direction from the central axis is asymmetrical, being present in at least one of the fixed member, the retaining member, and the actuator part. |
