摘要 Although PROFINET RT does not require preplanning, a system planning process is carried out in the system operator followed by a start-up phase and a subsequent production phase. After the start-up phase, the infrastructure is fundamentally stable with the exception of maintenance events and system extensions. The PROFINET standard requires that all participants do not transmit more than 3 Kbyte/ms. Such a requirement does not exist in Ethernet IEEE 802.3. More often, there are multiple extensions which oppose said requirement, thereby leading to RT frames now being discarded due to overflowing queues because the network component is blocked by NRT communication jumbo frames that are being transmitted at the moment for example. Thus, RT communication can no longer be maintained as requested such that the subordinate automation task is no longer carried out in an error-free manner. The described solution does not seek to prevent the problem but rather to quickly and efficiently find the source of the interference. The system is fundamentally improved by checking devices newly introduced into the system network in particular by means of the access security. Thus, maintenance and diagnosis devices introduced during the production phase can be shielded such that said devices do not themselves interfere with the system network when the PROFINET policies are disregarded, and therefore the operation of the system is further secured.
