The present invention relates to a daylighting apparatus and a method thereof which can provide natural lighting indoors with sunlight using a photovoltaic system while generating solar energy of the photovoltaic system. Provided is a daylighting apparatus and a method thereof using a photovoltaic system which concentrate incident sun-rays, detect the quantity of the sunlight concentrated, compare the quantity of light detected with a preset threshold range of daylighting, and if the quantity is below the threshold range, light indoors of a fixed or moving object with the concentrated sunlight, and if the quantity is above the threshold range, light indoors only with the sunlight within the threshold out of the concentrated sunlight and generate solar energy with the rest of the sunlight. |
