<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas monitoring device and a gas leakage monitoring system which are capable of structuring a system which monitors leakage of a refrigerant gas in an integrated fashion in terms of both environmental conservation and security securement while achieving power saving.SOLUTION: A gas monitoring device includes control means which drives gas sensors by either selected one of a first drive control mode which intermittently drives each of a plurality of gas sensors which are connected to one of a plurality of sensor drive circuits and belong to the same gas sensor group, and a second drive control mode which continuously drives each of the gas sensors which is connected to each of the plurality of sensor drive circuits. A gas leakage monitoring system for a refrigeration cycle of, for example, a show case drives the plurality of gas sensors in the first drive control mode, while a gas leakage monitoring system for a refrigeration cycle of a package air conditioner drives the plurality of gas sensors in the second drive control mode.</p> |
