The present invention proposes a method for transmitting a broadcasting signal. The method for transmitting the broadcasting signal according to the present invention comprises the steps of: encoding physical layer pipe (PLP) data by an encoder; time-interleaving the encoded PLP data by a time interleaver; frame-mapping the time interleaved PLP data with at least one signal frame by a framer; frequency-interleaving data of the least one signal frame by a frequency interleaver; and waveform-modulating the frequency-interleaved data of the at least one signal frame by a waveform module and transmitting a broadcasting signal including the modulated data, wherein the frequency-interleaving is performed according to a interleaving mode and the interleaving mode is determined on the basis of a size of a fast fourier transform (FFT).
