According to an embodiment of the present invention, the non-volatile memory system comprises: a non-volatile memory device including a non-volatile memory cell array; a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the non-volatile memory device; and a memory controller for controlling the frequency of performing memory management operations according to a predetermined temperature range, based on the measured temperature.
