The present invention provides a furniture system which includes a partition wall assembly for use in e.g. an office environment. The partition wall has a pair of posts, a panel disposed between the pair of posts, and a pair of connecting members holding the panel and the posts together. A first end portion of the connecting member is slidably fitted into an inner groove portion of the panel along a longitudinal direction. A second end portion of the connecting member is slidably fitted into an inner channel portion of the post along the longitudinal direction. The connecting members restrict relative movement between the posts and the panel along a lateral direction. The panel and the pair of posts are therefore held together by the connecting members to form an integral partition panel. |
