Provided are a detachable device in which the design of the device can be simplified, and a hinge device employing the same. This detachable device (6) is provided with: a case (60) in which are formed an insertion hole (61) for insertion of a pin (3), and a housing space (62) that connects to the insertion hole (61) and spreads out in a direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the insertion hole (61); a button (80) that is depressable into the case (60) in a direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the insertion hole (61); and a spring (70) that energizes the button in the opposite direction from the direction of depression of the button (80) with respect to the case (60). The spring (70) has a lock part (74) that locks the spring (70). When the button (80) is not being depressed, the lock part (74) is positioned within the insertion hole (61), and is moved from inside the insertion hole (61) to inside the housing space (62) by depression of the button (80). |
