In the present invention, a rotor is provided with: a rotor core fixed to a rotary shaft so as to be capable of integrally rotating therewith, a plurality of magnets being attached to the rotor core along the circumferential direction; a first rotor cover having a cylindrical first cylindrical part that covers the outer circumference of one axial-direction side of the rotor core; and a second rotor cover having a cylindrical second cylindrical part that covers the outer circumference of the other axial-direction side of the rotor core. The outer diameter of the first cylindrical part is greater than the inner diameter of the second cylindrical part, and the first rotor cover and the second rotor cover are press-fitted so that the first cylindrical part is disposed on the inner circumferential side of the second cylindrical part.
