[Problem] The problem to be solved by the present invention is providing a coil inserter with which a concentrated winding electric motor that has a high coil space factor and is free of insulation failures can be produced in fewer steps. [Solution] A coil bundle (40) is divided to two sides of a coil bundle separating means (80), caught in parallel in a blade gap (13), and separated to two sides of a phase-to-phase insulation paper guide member (70) further outward than the blade gap. While still divided, the adjacent coil bundles (40, 40) are simultaneously pushed into a slot (32) through an opening gap by a single instance of stretching of a stripper (50), and a phase-to-phase insulation paper (70) is inserted between the separated coil bundles. With a single action of pushing the coil bundles in, the coil bundles can be inserted in the separated state into a slot, without becoming entwined, thus making it possible for a concentrated winding electric motor that has a high coil space factor and is free of insulation failures to be produced in fewer steps. |
