This semi-finished good (31) of a motion regulating member is formed overall in a C-shape and has: a flat plate-shaped bridge section (33); a first curved section (35) extending integrally from one end of the bridge section (33); and a second curved section (37) extending integrally from the other end of the bridge section (33). The first curved section (35) has a first locking section (41) at the end thereof. The second curved section (37) has a second locking section (51) at the end thereof that locks to the first locking section (41). The first locking section (41) has a convex swelling (43) and a pair of receiving sections (45) positioned in a manner so as to sandwich the swelling (43). The second locking section (51) has: a concave housing section (53), which can house the swelling (43); and a pair of protrusions (55). The pair of protrusions (55) each have a bulge (57) that bulges towards the opening (54) of the housing section (53) from the tip portion of the protrusion (55). The swelling (43) has a constriction (44) at the base section thereof.
