<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of performing distributed printing by utilizing a printer connected to a network more effectively.SOLUTION: A printer PR1 is a printer that can be connected to a network 2 and includes; a printing job reception part 11 for receiving a printing job (JOB0) including printing data; a transfer destination specification part 12 for specifying a transfer destination printer on the network 2 to which the received printing job (JOB0) can be transferred; and a printing job transfer part 13 for transferring the printing job to the specified transfer destination printer. The printing job transfer part 13 converts the printing data as needed based on an attribute of the transfer destination printer, and transfers the printing job including the printing data converted as needed.</p> |
