The reception stack unit (410) connects to the communication network via a plurality of communication interfaces. The issuance management unit (440) transmits the data request packet from each of the plurality of communication interfaces. The H-RTT measurement unit (450), for each of the communication interfaces, measures the RTT between the communication interface and a data-bearing node, and on the basis of the RTT, determines a timeout period.
