Provided is an ultrasonic detection system for detecting a defect on a high density polyethylene pipe. The ultrasonic detection system for detecting a defect on a high density polyethylene pipe according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an inspection device for vibrating an ultrasound by moving along an outer surface of the high density polyethylene pipe, and inspecting an internal signal; and a detection device for detecting a defect on the high density polyethylene through a pattern of the signal inspected in the inspection device. The inspection device inspects by changing a focus on the depth of the high density polyethylene pipe.
