In order to efficiently utilize communication resources for a detour for a path in a network comprising a plurality of nodes, a network management device is provided with: a path information storage unit (21) that stores a communication route between two nodes and a communication resource allocated thereto; a resource information storage unit (22) that stores communication resource allocation states; an allocation state determination unit (23) that determines the allocation state of a communication resource scheduled to be allocated to a path not yet registered; a normal path registration unit (24) that, when a normal path is registered, if the communication resource scheduled to be allocated has not been allocated to another already registered path, notifies each node on the normal path of the route configuration, registers the normal path in the path information storage unit (21) and updates the allocation state of the allocated communication resource; and a spare path registration unit (25) that, when a spare path is registered, if the communication resource scheduled to be allocated has not been allocated to another already registered path, registers the spare path in the path information storage unit (21) and updates the allocation state of the allocated communication resource. |
