In a vehicle parking lock device, when a normally-closed-type first solenoid valve (33B) that was originally closed in a range other than the P range is opened by magnetic excitation, because an accumulator (37) and the rear chamber (37a) thereof are communicated via a switching valve (35), oil pressure accumulated in the accumulator (37) is released into the rear chamber (37a). Consequently, even if a normally-open-type second solenoid valve (33C) is then opened by turning off an ignition switch for the purpose of stopping a drive source, oil pressure is not supplied from the accumulator (37) to a locking oil chamber (29B) of a hydraulic actuator (25) because the accumulator (37) is released, and the existing first and second solenoid valves (33B, 33C) are used to cancel the automatic parking lock operation. It is thereby possible to prevent the structure of a hydraulic circuit (31) from becoming complicated, without adding any solenoid valves. |
