Provided is a DC motor. The DC motor includes: a case unit including a tube type frame which has at least one side opened, a case part which includes a tube-type end cover which has one side opened; a rotor which comprises a rotation shaft supported by the frame and the end cover and a rotor core installed in the rotation shaft; a commuter which is arranged at one end of the rotor core and is installed on the rotation shaft; a cover part which is installed on the rotation shaft, is arranged between the rotor and the commuter, and includes at least one position detection device; and a rotation detection part which is installed in the end cover and detects the position detection device.
