PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate control of terminal cooperation with portable terminals of users who are not watching television among a plurality of portable terminals.SOLUTION: A television receiver 1 includes: a storage unit 4 for storing identification information of a plurality of portable terminals 50 capable of receiving information on broadcast content; a receiving unit 21 for receiving recommendation information indicating that recommendation of broadcast content has been accepted; and a transmitting unit 22 for transmitting, upon receipt of the recommendation information, the recommendation information to ones of portable terminals 50 whose identification information is stored in the storage unit 4 that have not received information on the broadcast content from the television receiver 1.
