PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which reduces deterioration of discharge performance which is caused by thickening and solidification of a recording liquid in a discharge port of a recording means even when recording operation of the recording means is stopped to perform post-processing to a recording medium.SOLUTION: A recording device includes a post-processing part in which post-processing is performed to a recording medium, on which records have been made, in a state where recording operation conducted by recording means is stopped; and opening/closing means which selectively conducts closing operation and opening operation of a discharge port provided at the recording means. Further, the recording device includes control means which controls the opening/closing means so that the discharge port is closed when the recording medium is stopped in the post-processing part. |
