PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable steady execution of jobs to be processed while predicting the amount of electric power in data centers operable using only electric power based on renewable energy.SOLUTION: A data center 20-26 operable using only electric power based on renewable energy includes: at least one or more devices 220 driven by the electric power based on renewable energy; a storage battery 250 for storing the electric power; and a controller 210 for switching an operating mode of the devices over the course of time on the basis of predicted values for the amount of electric power generated using renewable energy, the amount of electric power stored in the storage battery, and the amount of electric power consumed by the devices.
