PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and a memory management method which realize versatile memory management without requiring either time or effort.SOLUTION: An information processor includes a memory used as an operation area of a program, and a control section capable of switching between a first mode and a second mode. At the time of the first mode, the control section detects a resident program which resides in the memory, and stores the identification information of the resident program as resident program information. At the time of the second mode, the control section determines whether or not a request source program which has requested the securement of the operation area is the resident program by comparing the identification information of the request source program with the resident program information, and continuously secures in the memory the operation area for each of one or more of the request source programs determined to be the resident program. |
