forming a first area of the metallic base material; forming a second area of the metallic base material, the second area being adjacent to the first area; and when a difference in thickness at a first boundary portion between the first area and the second area is less than or equal to a machining tolerance of the panel member, forming a first marking ridge in the first boundary portion, the first marking ridge protruding above a surface of the first area and a surface of the second area. |
