摘要 Provided is a technique for enabling a data processing system to continue data processing by means of an efficient configuration when a reset is required due to detection of an abnormality. In this data processing system (100), which comprises a workstation (2) and a video processor (1) equipped with a many-core processor (12), a monitoring application (30) running in a monitoring OSI (28) of the video processor (1) detects whether or not an abnormality is present in a main OSI (22) which is used in a normal situation wherein a predetermined core of multiple cores is used. When an abnormality in the main OSI (22) is detected, the video processor switches to running an emergency FT-OSI (25), which is shared with the workstation (2) over a network, using a different core of the multiple cores. The FT-OSI (25) transmits data to be processed to the workstation (2) and performs control such that an execution program (53) in the workstation (2) is executed with respect to the data to be processed.
