The present invention enables correct evaluation of the deterioration state of a pipe. The corrosion state of the inner surface of a sample pipe is inspected (S5), and the quality of water flowing through the pipe is analyzed (S5). Next, the result of the inspection of the corrosion state of the inner surface of the sample pipe and the result of the water quality analysis are compared, and it is determined whether or not the inspection of the corrosion state is sufficient to evaluate the degree of deterioration of the entire range to be evaluated including the sample pipe (S6). For example, if the occurrence of corrosion pitting is not recognized in the inspection of the corrosion state although the occurrence of the pitting corrosion on the surface of the pipe is strongly suggested by the water quality analysis, it is determined that the inspection of the corrosion state is not sufficient. Meanwhile, if the result of the inspection of the corrosion state and the inspection of the water quality analysis are sufficiently consistent, it is determined that the inspection of the corrosion state is sufficient. Then, the degree of deterioration of the entire range to be evaluated is evaluated on the basis of the result of the inspection of the corrosion state (S7, S8). |
