The purpose of the present invention is to provide a filler metal for TIG welding, which allows stable welding by having an increased heat input per unit length and a larger input area for heat flux than a general filler metal in a wire form. To achieve the above objective, the present invention is configured such that an electrode is positioned on a top of a parent material; an arc formed between the electrode and the parent material; and a shielding gas supplied around the arc and continuously to the top of the parent material such that the filler metal for TIG welding is melted by the arc, wherein the cross section of the filler metal is shaped such that the surface in the direction of the electrode is concavely bent in the direction of the electrode.
