PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which enables downsizing of the entire fuel cell system and also allows the reduction of loss in driving an auxiliary machine.SOLUTION: A system control unit 60 comprises a map storage unit 61 which stores a map indicating a relationship between a control command value preset for a predetermined fuel cell voltage and an output from an auxiliary machine. The system control unit 60 determines the control command value assigned to the auxiliary machine based on the map. Consequently, a stable output from the auxiliary machine can be obtained irrespective of variations in fuel cell voltage of a fuel cell 50. Because it becomes possible to deal with the variations in fuel cell voltage, a DC/DC converter, which is otherwise arranged between the fuel cell 50 and the auxiliary machine, is unnecessary. As a result, it is possible to improve the auxiliary machine efficiency by reducing loss and reduce the size of a fuel cell system 1. |
