<p>Data is encoded into a digital image by determining a binary representation of the bit values of a pixel within the digital image and modifying the bit values within the pixel based on the binary representation of the data to be encoded. The data is encoded using a reversible binary operation. Also disclosed is encoding of user data in a signature field, encoding of user verification data, verification of an encoded user signature, associating encoded handwritten signature with a user, authentication of a user signature and encoding of a signature using pixel colour values.</p> |
