<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thin-film solar cell capable of reducing a manufacturing cost and improving output.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a thin-film solar cell includes the steps of: laminating a semiconductor photoelectric conversion layer on a first electrode layer of an insulating substrate; laminating a second electrode layer on the semiconductor photoelectric conversion layer; forming a belt-like isolation groove for separating at least the second electrode layer; removing the semiconductor photoelectric conversion layer and the second electrode layer in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the isolation groove in a belt-like manner (first removal step); and removing the first electrode layer, the semiconductor photoelectric conversion layer, and the second electrode layer in a region more outside than the region removed in a belt-like manner in a longitudinal direction of the isolation groove so that the first electrode layer protrudes in a more longitudinal direction of the isolation groove than the semiconductor photoelectric conversion layer and the second electrode layer (second removal step).</p> |
