A steering wheel has a main body 97 and a module 11, typically an airbag, one of which has a plurality of hole portions 47 and the other has a plurality of hooks 37 insertable into hole portions 47. Engagement members 48 are provided at each hole portion 47, are biased in a direction crossing an insertion direction of hooks 37 and engage hooks 37 when inserted. At least one hook 37a comprises a positioning reference portion (58, Figure 2a) on an outside face that abuts an inside face of hole portion 47, and also a plurality of adjustment portions (56, Figure 2a) that protrude from an outside face and elastically engaging the inside face of hole portion 47 when positioning portion 58 abuts this inside face. Optimally, the biasing loads cancel so that the vector sum of the biasing loads is substantially zero. Also disclosed is an arrangement comprising locking portions (38a, Figure 10) and lock-receiving portions (47a, Figure 10) and contact points for a horn on the module and main body. |
