<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline cell in which generation of gas during overdischarge can be suppressed, even if the capacity ratio of a negative electrode to a positive electrode is increased in order to enhance discharge performance. <P>SOLUTION: In an alkaline cell 1 where a positive electrode mixture 3 produced by molding a positive electrode active material annularly, and a negative electrode gel 5 containing a zinc alloy as a negative electrode active material in a hollow part of the positive electrode mixture are disposed while sandwiching a separator 4, a lithium salt is added to at least one of the positive electrode mixture and the negative electrode gel. More preferably, 1.0 mmol/Ah or more and 10.0 mmol/Ah or less of lithium salt is added to the positive electrode mixture of the alkaline cell, 0.8 mmol/Ah or more and 8.0 mmol/Ah or less of lithium salt is added to the negative electrode gel of the alkaline cell, or the ratio of theoretical capacity of the negative electrode to theoretical capacity of the positive electrode (theoretical capacity of negative electrode/theoretical capacity of positive electrode) is 1.2-1.3 in the alkaline cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
