<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge in which, with the amount of plating reduced and by use of an inexpensive metal plate, the generation of rust on the metal plate can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In a tape cartridge, a metal plate 20 for magnetic attraction is integrated with a bottom plate 15 of a hub member 12 constituting a reel 10. Inside a cylindrical part 13 of the hub member 12, there is housed a reel lock mechanism for prohibiting the rotation of the reel when the tape cartridge is not in use. On the surface of the bottom plate at the side of the reel lock mechanism, there are formed openings 19 exposing a part of the metal plate. A member 30, which is a constituting member of the reel lock mechanism and moves in the direction of contact/separation relative to the bottom plate by interlocking with switching operation of permission and prohibition in the rotation of the reel, blocks the openings when the tape cartridge is not in use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
